There's a particular feeling that comes with watching an activity succeed beyond expectation — and then the question that follows: what comes next? The GLEE Girls Conference gave us exactly that feeling. What stood out most wasn't just attendance, but participation — young girls actively engaging with issues that shape their own growth, not simply listening from the sidelines.

Since the conference, many of them have signed up as volunteers under the guidance of GLEE, now gaining real, hands-on experience in community development. That, to us, is the clearest sign of impact: not a one-day event, but young girls choosing to stay involved, to keep building. It's a strong indicator that GLEE isn't just creating a moment — it's creating momentum for growth within the Mutengene community.
